How Auto Tariffs Will Affect You in Spokane WA

Here's the latest on the new auto tariffs and their impact on vehicle prices:

• Effective April 3rd, a 25% tariff will apply to all new vehicles imported into the U.S.
• Vehicles already in the country before April 2nd will NOT be affected.
• Future imported vehicles will see a 25% price increase—for example, a $30,000 vehicle could increase by $7,500 or more.
• We sell new vehicles produced in Mexico and Canada, all of which will be impacted.

• About 78% of our new Fords are built in the U.S.
• However, many key components (powertrains, electronics, transmissions, tires, and safety systems) are imported and will also be subject to the 25% tariff.
• Price increases on these vehicles are projected to range from $2,500 to $7,000, depending on the percentage of foreign parts used.
