Which Bronco Sport MPG Setup Makes the Most Sense?

If most of your miles are spent commuting around Spokane, driving I-90, or taking weekend highway trips, the 1.5L EcoBoost® models make the most sense from a fuel economy standpoint. You still get standard 4×4, so choosing the smaller engine does not mean giving up the traction that can be useful during Inland Northwest winters. For 2025 and 2026, the 25 MPG city and 30 MPG highway rating also makes the standard 1.5L models more efficient than earlier Bronco Sport versions.

Badlands® is a different proposition. Its 2.0L EcoBoost® uses more fuel, but you are getting considerably more than a larger engine. Advanced 4×4, additional terrain modes, upgraded suspension, and other off-road hardware make it the Bronco Sport to choose if your weekends regularly include rough forest roads, camping access routes, or more challenging terrain.
